Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland and Taiwan Students 2017
Organized by the Office of Academic Links (China) (OALC), the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) continued to take part in the Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland and Taiwan Students 2017. In our third consecutive year of participation, a group of nine undergraduate students with six of them from the Chongqing Medical University (CQMU), China, two from the Guangdong Ocean University (GDOU), China and one from Beijing University, China, were arranged to receive research training in our School between 2 July and 19 August 2017.

Students from CQMU continue to participate in this programme and receive training in our School after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between CQMU and our School in November 2014. Through this summer scheme, we hope that our postgraduate students can enhance their academic exposure and interaction with students from other Mainland and Taiwan universities, and that our school can lay down a solid foundation for pursuing other forms of collaborations with the participating institutions.
