7th CUHK International Symposium on Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine
The 7th CUHK International Symposium on Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine was successfully held at the Prince of Wales Hospital on 13 November 2017. The Symposium was jointly organized by the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK); School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS), Faculty of Medicine, CUHK; the Sports Medicine and Regenerative Technology (SMART) Program, Lui Che Woo Institute of Innovative Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK; and the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine (CUHK-Jinan University).

Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of SBS, served as member in the organizing committee for the Symposium, while Prof. Jiang Xiaohua and Prof. Wan Chao, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of SBS, together with other 22 speakers presented in the Symposium on topics relating to biology of regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal regeneration and translational research. With the momentum of the previous years, the Symposium continued to serve as an effective and interactive platform for strengthening stem cell biology and regenerative medicine in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
