Led by Prof. Andrew M. Chan, Director of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS), a delegation comprising Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Prof. Alfred S.L. Cheng, Prof. Yao Xiaoqing and Prof. Zhao Hui of our School visited the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou on 18 March 2024.

During the visit, representatives from both the School and the Third Affiliated Hospital provided an overview of their respective organizations. They engaged in productive discussions regarding collaboration such as research and personnel exchange. Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the Center of Brain Diseases and the Center of Liver Diseases at the Hospital.

By fostering mutual understanding, our aim is to establish a stronger partnership and research collaboration between SBS and the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.

生物醫學學院院長陳文樂教授帶領代表團於2024年3月18日訪問位於廣州的中山大學附屬第三醫院。代表團成員包括陳活彜教授、鄭詩樂教授、姚曉強教授和趙暉教授。

學院與醫院在會議上介紹了各自概況，並就將來的合作議題包括合作研究及人員交流進行了深入討論。代表團也參觀了醫院的腦病中心及肝病中心。

通過此次會面，我們希望加深彼此的了解，建立更緊密的合作夥伴關係，並促進生物醫學學院與中山大學附屬第三醫院在研究領域的合作。
