The Ceremony for the Inauguration of the Choh-Ming Li Professorships and Presentation of Teaching and Research Awards, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was held on 2 September 2021.

At the Ceremony, Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK officiated the inauguration of the professorships, and presented teaching and research awards. Prof. Sham Mai-har, Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President (Research) cum Professor of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) was presented with the Choh-Ming Li Professorship with the awarded title, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Biomedical Sciences. Also, Prof. Alfred S.L. Cheng, Professor of SBS and Chief of our Cancer Biology & Experimental Therapeutics (CBET) Program was presented with the Young Researcher Award 2019, CUHK.

We sincerely congratulate Prof. Sham and Prof. Cheng for the honours received which recognise their exemplary accomplishments in the pursuit of academic excellence.

中大校長段崇智教授主持卓敏教授席就職儀式，並頒發傑出教學及研究獎。中大副校長（研究）暨生物醫學學院教授岑美霞教授獲授「卓敏生物醫學講座教授」之殊榮。此外，本學院教授暨腫瘤生物學及實驗藥物治療學主題研究組主任鄭詩樂教授於典禮上獲頒中大「2019年度年青研究員獎」。
