Prof. Kwan Yiu-wa officially retired from the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 1 August 2023. Immediately following the retirement, he was reappointed as Senior Research Fellow (honorary) with effect from 1 August 2023.

The following non-academic staff members officially retired from SBS on 1 August 2023:

Mr Chan Kam-ming   Senior Technician, who joined CUHK in 1989

Mr Cheng Tin-yan   Technican, who joined CUHK in 1985
