In order to enable students to gain more understanding of market trend and potential career choices, a BiomedSci Career Talk was co-organised by the teams of the BSc in Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Programme, and the interdisciplinary BSc in Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship and Healthcare Management (BEHM) Programme on 9 November 2022. The career talk titled “Understanding the Biotech Ecosystem: Career Opportunities for Young Graduates” was delivered by Dr. Ken Wong, Executive Director of Hong Kong Life Sciences Society. He first introduced the BMS and BEHM students with the overview of the biotech ecosystem in Hong Kong, followed by the sharing about career opportunities as well as the ways to better equip themselves for pursuing biotech or biomedical science career.
