The School of Biomedical Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (SBS-CUHK) and the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University (SH-MU), Thailand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 2 May 2023.

Prof. Stephen Dalton, Professor/Global STEM Scholar of SBS-CUHK, and Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University signed the MoU on-site at Siriraj Hospital, as witnessed by other representatives from Siriraj Hospital including Assoc.Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations; Assoc.Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee, Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation, et al, as well as representatives from SBS-CUHK including Prof. Andrew M. Chan, Director of SBS; Prof. Stephen Tsui, Associate Director (Research), et al.

This partnership was forged by Prof. Stephen Dalton of SBS and Prof. Siwanon Jirawatnotai of SH-MU for establishing a Joint International Research Programme on Stem Cell in Cancer Therapy, which aims to advance the research collaboration and promote academic and educational exchange between the two institutes.

香港中文大學生物醫學學院（本學院）與泰國瑪希敦大學西里拉醫院醫學院於2023年5月2日簽署合作協議。

本學院杜卓勳教授 / 全球創科學人與瑪希敦大學西里拉醫院醫學院院長 Apichat Asavamongkolkul 教授於西里拉醫院簽署有關合作協議，並由西里拉醫院代表包括醫學院副院長（企業傳訊與國際關係）Prapat Wanitpongpan教授、副院長（研究及創新）Sith Sathornsumetee教授等人、及本院院長陳文樂教授、副院長（研究事務）徐國榮教授等人作現場或網上見證。

是次合作由本院杜卓勳教授率同西里拉醫院Siwanon Jirawatnotai教授一同促成，以開展有關幹細胞於癌症治療的聯合國際研究項目，藉此加強兩所院校的研究合作、並促進雙方的學術和教育交流。
