Venue: Lo Kwee Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building, Area 39, CUHK campus

Please note that application is required, and it is free of charge.
Eligibility: Year 3/4 Undergraduate students/ Master’s students in a field related to biomedical or life sciences in a recognized university. Selected candidates will receive our invitation letter through our email by early May 2026.
Visa Application: Once receiving the invitation letters, non-local candidates are reminded to apply for visas for traveling to Hong Kong, and entry permit (if applicable for mainland students). Please note that participants are responsible for their own visa/entry permit application fees.
Sponsorship: Selected candidates will enjoy free on-campus accommodation and meals on selected days indicated in the programme schedule, as well as free shuttle bus service during our activities.
Travel expenses: Participants are responsible for covering their own travel expenses.

Available quota is limited, please complete a free online application by 30 April 2026 (5:00 PM HKT). Based on our School’s selection criteria, we will inform the selected applicants by early May 2026.

Visa applications for non-local students

Participants are required to obtain a valid entry visa to enter Hong Kong. A formal invitation letter will be issued to all selected participants, which can be used to support their visa/entry permit application. As participants are not yet registered students of CUHK, a student visa is not applicable.

For participants who come from Mainland China, please apply for standard tourist visa. Residents of designated Mainland cities may also visit Hong Kong under the Individual Visit Scheme (自由行).

Processing a visit visa, transit visa, or entry permit typically takes 6–8 weeks during peak season, starting from the time all required documents are submitted. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that they obtain their visa/entry permit on time.
