Postgraduate Studentships/Scholarships

CUHK offers Postgraduate Studentships (PGS) for up to 2 years to all full-time MPhil students and for up to 4 years to all full-time PhD students. The PGS for 2025-26 is HK$19,100 (approx. US$2,450) per month. Additionally, various scholarships and funding schemes are available to support full-time MPhil and PhD students to conduct overseas academic activities, such as presenting papers at international conferences, conducting field trips and engaging in data collection projects.
