On 14 November 2022, members of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) participated in the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong Postgraduate Research Symposium and Exchange on Regenerative Medicine organized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Key Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine, with the support of the MOE Ten Thousand Student Interflow Programme 2022, Jinan University and CUHK. The event was held in a combined online and offline format, and was participated by more than 200 members from both CUHK and Jinan University.

Prof. Chan Wai-Yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Vice-President of CUHK and Li Ka Shing Professor of Biomedical Sciences first delivered the opening remarks. Other SBS members including Prof. Wan Chao, Prof. Zhao Hui, Prof. Chan Hon-fai, Prof. Elmer D.F. Ker, Prof. Ellen N.Y. Poon, Prof. Michelle D. Wang, Prof. Jiang Yangzi and Prof. Linda S. Gu, postgraduate students, postdoctoral fellows and research staff joined the Symposium. Eight postgraduate students of SBS were invited to give oral presentations on their research topics, and another 20 students participated in poster presentation sessions to compete for prizes with other students from Jinan University. With their exceptional performance, 3 postgraduate students won oral presentation prizes and 11 students won poster presentation prizes.

生物醫學學院成員參與於2022年11月14日2022年粵港再生醫學研究生學術交流會。活動由國家教育部再生醫學重點實驗室主辦，並在國家教育部「香港與內地高校師生交流計劃（萬人計劃）」、暨南大學以及中大的支持下以線上線下混合模式順利舉行，逾200名中大及暨南大學的與會者參與此活動。

中大副校長及李嘉誠生物醫學講座教授陳偉儀教授為學術交流會致開幕辭，其他學院成員包括萬超教授、趙暉教授、陳漢輝教授、柯岱飛教授、潘雅欣教授、王丹教授、姜洋子教授、顧燊教授、學院研究生、博士後研究員及研究職員參與此活動。交流會上，本學院分別有8位及20位學生獲邀就其研究主題作出口頭報告及牆報報告，與暨南大學的學生一同角逐獎項。憑藉他們出色的表現，學院代表團有3位同學奪得口頭報告比賽獎項，另外11位同學獲頒牆報比賽獎項。
